      Acces4 lets you add Headers and Footers to your documents and format them in a variety of ways.

      Set Document Properties
    </h3>
  <ol>

      <li>Enter the information that you would like to appear in your Headers and Footers. <img class="screenshot-noshadow mac" src="images/documentpropertieswindow.png"></img>

          <p>
            The Memo is used to display a short note to students at the top of the first page of the document.
          </p>
          <p>
            Advanced users can select <span class="option">"Treat memo text as TeX code"</span> and use TeX commands to
            do apply special formatting to the memo text, such as inserting math formulas or drawing a box around the
            text.

  <p>
      You can specify Headers and Footers for:
    </p>
  <ul>
      <li>All pages (every page displays the same Header/Footer)
      </li>
      <li>First page (only the first page of the document will display the selected Header/Footer)
      </li>
      <li>Even pages (even-numbered pages will display the selected Header/Footer)
      </li>
      <li>Odd pages (odd-numbered pages will display the selected Header/Footer)
      </li>
    </ul>

      If you want all of your pages to share the same Header and/or Footer, skip this step and go directly to <a href="#select" shape="rect"><b>Select Headers and Footers</b></a>.

        <p>
          If you want to define different Headers and/or Footers for different pages in your document, you must first
          click the <span class="button">lock</span> button <img class="icon" src="images/lock.png"></img> to unlock the
          pages.
        </p>

          Use the <span>Show</span> list to specify the page for which you want to select a Header/Footer.

      Click the arrow buttons to the right of the Header and Footer display windows to cycle through the available
      styles. When you find the one(s) you want, click <span class="button">OK</span> to save your settings or select
      another page-type from the <span>Show</span> list to select other Headers/Footers.

      You can also use a combination of these options. For example, you may want the Header on the first page of your
      document to include the Class, Title, and Date and the Footer to include the page number. On the other pages, you
      may just want the Title in the Header and the page number in the Footer.
    </p>
  <p>
      When you have finished defining your Headers and Footers, click <span class="button">OK</span> to save your
      selections and return to your document.
