<p>If you have a paint or drawing program installed, you can edit many of the graphics figures included in problems from your licensed database modules. To 
edit a figure in one of the problems you have added to your document, follow these steps:

<div class="note">Set your preferences to choose the paint or drawing program you want to use. (You only have to do this once.)

	<ul>
		<li>Choose <span class="menu">Edit > Preferences</span>.<img class="screenshot-noshadow" src="images/editpreferences.png"/>

		<li>Click on the <span class="option">Graphics</span> tab. Click <span calss="button">Browse</span> and select the paint or drawing program you want
			to use to edit figures.

		<li>Close Preferences by clicking <span class="button">OK</span>.
		</li>
		<li>Restart Acces.

<h3>Edit in Basic View</h3>

	Before proceeding, make sure you are in Basic View by choosing <span class="menu">View &gt; Basic</span>.

	<ol>
    <li>Right-click on the problem in the Document Tree and choose <span class="menu">Edit</span> from the shortcut menu.<img class="screenshot-noshadow" src="images/editproblemcontextmenu.png"></img>

    <li>The problem will open in the Visual Editor. Right-click on the image you want to edit and choose <span class="menu">Edit</span>. <img class="screenshot-noshadow" src="images/editimage.png"/>

	<li>Choose to save a new copy of the figure for this problem only, or edit the figure for all problems. If you choose to save a new copy of the 
		figure, you will be prompted to name your figure and save it in the My Acces4 Content folder. If you choose to edit the figure for all problems, 
		the figure will be saved to the My Acces4 Content folder with its original name. If you decide later that you want to revert back to the original copy of the figure, simply delete or rename the edited figure

	<li>The figure will open in your paint or drawing program. Edit it as desired. When you save the figure, Acces will automatically update the problem to 
		include the edited figure.

	<li>Click on the Edit tab in the Document Window.

	<li>Right-click on the <span class="option">\figure</span> command and choose <span class="option">Edit </span>.
